Investment Operations Associate

This is an opportunity for analysts on the Investment Operations team. You will assist our Director of Client Relations to ensure that we deliver outstanding results for our clients.

It’s an exciting role, and no two days are the same. You’ll work across our range of supplier and partner businesses while having the opportunity to interact directly with our customers. You’ll be detail-oriented and passionate about finding better ways to highlight where controls can be improved. You will help with design and implementation to ensure we best meet our customers’ needs and protect our customers’ operational needs.

You will need to understand the consequences of all actions and manage these according to our risk framework.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry, preferably in investment operations.
• Understand the characteristics of different asset types – equities, fixed income, unit trusts, OEICs, investment trusts.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Able to prioritise the high impact work, but never neglect the details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communication should always be through the client’s preferred method with an emphasis on a speedy, friendly approach.
• Able to anticipate the needs of those you work with, while juggling conflicting priorities.
• The ability to think laterally and come up with new solutions to existing problems.
